A Great Help for Allergy and Asthma Sufferers! What a thorough and detailed handbook on allergies and asthma! I have suffered with allergies and asthma all of my life and frankly, wading through the medical literature on how to manage these diseases, has been more than frustrating. Finally, a step by step guidebook on what to do, when to do it, and how to do it, has surfaced. I frequently refer to the book for tips and use it as a resource for discussing treatment options with my doctor. I would recommend this book to any fellow allergy or asthma sufferer.

Great!Comet "Bob" is back and the town of Endicott, Indiana is celebrating. Why the comet passes over this town is a mystery, but some still believe in the legend: when someone born in the year of the comet makes a wish when Bob passes over the town, the wish will come true on his next visit. In the first of the series, Angie's wish for something exciting to happen may come true in the form of mystery man Ethan Zorn, but Angie believes he is out to steal her father's company! "Beauty and the Brain" and "The Virgin and the Vagabond" follow.

Bright Wings Broken
Published in Paperback by Commonwealth Pubns Inc (January, 1996)
Average review score:

A compelling, important novelIt's rare to find a novel these days that takes a strong moral stand without moralizing. Liz Jones tells the story of Emma Hunter, a high school English teacher, who is struggling to help save her gifted, sensitive student Sage, caught between her troubled family and a love affair with the occult. How far can and should a teacher go to rescue her student? I recommend this book especially for educators and people who work with at-risk youth.

Britain Since 1945 (Making Contemporary Britain)
Published in Paperback by Blackwell Publishers (January, 2003)
Average review score:

Best informative read yet on modern Britain.Considering all the texts available on modern Britain, this one has everything imaginable in it-- plus in very readable prose and format. I also liked the chronologies after each chapter, and the lengthy list of suggested readings for specialists. All in all, having read every book on contemporary Britain I can lay my hands on, this is the best one I've seen.

The British on Broadway: Backstage and Beyond-The Early Years
Published in Hardcover by Barbican Pr (September, 1999)
Average review score:

Terrific book about the British Invasion of BroadwayOnce again Elizabeth Sharland has managed to combine theatrical and social history in, so far as I know, the first-ever inclusive account of the Brits on Broadway, what the invasion did both to the invaders and the invaded. At a time when, after a couple of decades in apparent slumber, the New York theatre has again awoken to its own native musical and dramatic talent, it is good to be reminded of the years when it was, amazingly, the British who were essentially keeping the fabulous invalid on a life-support machine.
This is the story of how, for a brief shining moment, Leicester Square got to Times Square.
The author will explain the formation of this great country and the complex formation of brazilian people. There's no how to understand Brazil without read this book before. This is one of the most complete book I've read abou this country
